Uploading Files to Document Manager

Upload important files like contracts and insurance documents to Document Manager. Learn how to set expirations and notifications.

One of the key benefits to using Document Manager is the ability to not only upload files, but also to set expiration dates. This is especially helpful for items such as contracts, insurance certifications, and even managing employee certifications.

To upload a file:

  1. Select Document Manager from the Menu Bar,
  2. Locate the desired Portfolio and Property folders.
    • Filtering may help locate the Portfolio and Property
  3. Select the best sub-folder for the item you wish to upload.
    • Contracts
    • Insurance Certs
    • Employee Certs
  4. Based on your unique configuration, there may be an additional folder to select for the specific document. For example, some customers create separate folders for each contract type, landscape, pool, HVAC, patrol, etc. 
  5. Select Upload File once you've located the correct folder. 
  6. Enter the desired name and complete the upload form
  • If tracking a document with an expiration be sure to add the expiration date and select a notification option, which is revealed when the expiration date is set. 
  1. Select Upload when all fields are completed.

If you need to replace this document at any time, select the "Update and Archive" button, and add the new document. This will update the document and create an Archive folder with the previous document.
